pARTicipate! Awards SystemThis post will inform you about our forum's award system. As some of you know, or have seen on other forums, pARTicipate has decided to incorporate an awards system too! Here's how it works. When you achieve something, an image award will be unlocked and awarded to you by our staff. Once you unlock an achievement, you will be able to view it in your profile page, and also as a pop-up under your name in your mini-profile. As PHYsics demands a proper info thread, here's the FAQ. FAQ1. What the heck are achievements? Achievements refer to a specific act done on the forum that warrants an award. The list of achievements is still in development (along with their images). However, here is a list of awards you can earn (so far): This list will be updated when needed.- 20 Posts - This member has achieved 20 posts.
- 50 Posts - This member has achieved 50 posts.
- 100 Posts - This member has achieved 100 posts.
- 250 Posts - This member has achieved 250 posts.
- 500 Posts - This member has achieved 500 posts.
- 1000 Posts - This member has achieved 1000 posts.
- 1500 Posts - This member has achieved 1500 posts.
- 2000 Posts - This member has achieved 2000 posts.
That's it. One question. (Thanks a load, PHYsics.) When you think you have achieved an award, please allow a few days for our staff to update your awards list. We're busy too, you know . In the case where you feel you have been forgotten one of your awards, feel free to drop either myself or PHYsics a PM.Thank you for reading! Now, here's PHYsics taking over with the points system.

pARTicipate! Points SystemThis post will inform you of the forum's points system.I trust the sensible amongst you have read X's post directly above. I'm here as forum Backstage Admin (bow to thee) to introduce you to the Award System's estranged but still closely related brother, the points system. While the Award System encompasses 'achievements' which can be received while posting on the forum, the points system take a slightly more passive backseat, running on its own as you post. Points however, are instrumental in purchases from the forum store, which will be elaborated in another thread. 'Points' are, as our GM wrcr87 nicely calls it, the forum's 'currency'. At the moment of this posting, each post on the forum will earn each member 1 point. In the interest of not sparking flame wars, karma does not play a part in the points you earn on the forum. As I am extremely bored and unamused, everything you need to know about the points system can be found in the FAQ directly below. FAQ1. How is the awards system related to the points system?Scoring specific achievements, besides giving you nice award graphics, will also earn you a set number of points per achievement, which likewise can be used in the forum store. A future thread will be made (possibly along with the forum store) to tabulate the number of points per achievement. 2. Why does each post only earn me 1 point? The forum administration would also like all members to, besides posting, pARTicipate in forum activities. Posting is merely one of the ways one can contribute to art. I would also like to add that the points system is adjustable for inflation, as well as the prices in the forum shop. 3. What are the different ways points can be earned?Besides posting, points can also be earned through completing achievements, winning specified forum contests (which could give both awards and points), and all in all, being a contributing and important part of pARTicipate. The forum administration will issue out points on specific dates to members who we feel are deserving. 4. I've been really nice, been helping out other members, and been actively posting my art. Why didn't I get more points? No worries. Keep at it, and the staff will notice you eventually. You will then be issued your deserving points. 5. My number of points decreased suddenly! What happened? There are 2 possible reasons for this. Firstly, you could have spent some of your points at the forum store. Secondly, you could have broken a forum rule, been offensive, or somehow gotten on the bad side of one of the staff members (relax, we don't reduce points unless we have good reasons). 6. What exactly is the forum store?Click Here7. Can I donate points?Definitely. In the case whereby you would like to help another member pay for something in the forum store, or if you would just like to donate points (aka you're being nice), simply PM either wrcr87 or one of the administrators specifying the amount and the recipient of the points. You can choose to be or not to be anonymous.
Feel free to post any questions you have about either forum systems below in this thread. We also welcome any appropriate suggestions. ~PHYsics
