I have heard of people who are not HP fans, and probably because they didn't enjoy it, which made me wonder what on earth would they enjoy reading, then?

Perhaps.. they're those people who simply don't like to read?

Now that could be possible. If only schools began introducing HP into their syllabus...

Oh my gawd. That would be wicked awesome. I seriously wish that they would at least consider it and let the students vote on it. English would become my new favourite class.

Oh lord. I don't even know. However - I do know that some schools have banned Harry Potter, because they felt that the "witchcraft" used in the books were causing negative effects on the students.. or causing thoughts of magic to enter their minds and broadening the horizons of many imaginations. My, my.. what a crime it is to think of magical things in this world.. Please.

I suppose they are worried about the negative it will have religiously on very young kids. If that is a high school or college however, I would be...surprised.

I don't know which schools, so I couldn't tell you unless I looked it up.. And I'm currently too lazy to do so. But - even public schools that're not religiously-oriented have banned it.. I find it simply wrong. Who are teachers to ban students from reading books that they wish to read? They're merely making it so that students are restricted from reading certain types of books.. which negatively effects the students in the long run anyway.

We got to choose the book we read, so it doesn't really count But, it was the mosy fun I've ever had writing a book report.

I would have loved to do a book report on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. However - I would most likely choose a different book to do a book report on, because I tend to delve deeper into plot lines of tragic, realistic fiction novels.
